Vex Robotics World Championship

Three robotics teams from Bayou View Middle School will travel to Kentucky to compete in the Vex Robotics World Championship. The competition starts on April 25th and will end on the 28th. Standard matches and robot skills challenge will take place in Louisville. The object of the game is to get a higher score than your opponent by stacking the most cones in goal zone. Seventh grader William Zarske tells News 25 how the teams have been preparing. “Well, we have been working on our robots, getting autonomous stuff done. We actually took apart pretty much the entire robot, rebuilt it better to make it have a chance at worlds.” Zarske and the rest of the Bayou Middle School teams are looking forward to seeing all the robots from different countries to compare building strategies
